Is paint prep required before applying a ceramic coating?

Yes. A ceramic coating seals in whatever state the paint is currently in. We carry out a thorough decontamination wash and at least a single-stage machine polish (Gloss Enhancement or Stage 1 Paint Correction) to clear swirl marks, scratches, and haze before locking in the finish.

How do I maintain my ceramic coating after it’s applied?

Maintenance becomes significantly easier because dirt struggles to stick to the coated surface. We recommend routine washing using a safe two-bucket method, pH-neutral soaps, and microfiber drying towels. Avoid automatic drive-through brush washes, as they use harsh chemicals and abrasive brushes that can damage the coating.

What do you need access to at my home to complete the coating?

Because we offer a convenient mobile service, all we need access to at your property is a standard household outdoor tap and a regular electrical socket. We bring all of our specialized machine polishers, lighting, and coating equipment directly to you.

How long does a ceramic coating take to cure?

The initial cure takes about 24 hours, during which the vehicle should ideally stay dry and out of heavy weather. Full chemical curing takes around 7 to 14 days, during which you should avoid washing the car with shampoos or detergents.
